Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before starting a project with Make It Look.

These Terms & Conditions govern all projects undertaken by Make It Look, including web design & development, print design, and creative services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.
Pricing & Delivery
- •Prices quoted cover design, development, and setup for the agreed service (web design, print design, or creative services). Third-party platform fees, subscriptions, transaction charges, hosting, printing costs, and advertising are not included unless stated otherwise.
- •Project timelines are estimates and depend on project scope, client feedback, and third-party services. We are not responsible for delays caused by external services such as web platforms, printers, shipping providers, or material suppliers.
- •For print projects, final costs may vary based on print specifications, materials, quantities, and supplier pricing. A final quote will be provided before production begins.
Payment Terms
- •A 50% deposit is required before work begins on any project.
- •The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion and prior to final delivery, website launch, or print production.
- •For print projects, full payment is required before files are sent to print or production begins.
- •Work will not commence or be delivered until payments are received.
Third-Party Services & Suppliers
- •Web projects may rely on third-party platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, payment gateways, or hosting providers. All third-party accounts and subscriptions are owned and paid for by the client.
- •Print projects may require third-party printing services, material suppliers, or shipping providers. We are not responsible for print quality issues, delays, or costs imposed by external suppliers.
- •We are not responsible for changes, outages, price increases, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.
Maintenance & Support
- •For web projects, where included, support covers bug fixes, minor content changes, and usage guidance only.
- •For print and creative projects, support covers minor file adjustments and format conversions within 30 days of delivery.
- •New features, major design changes, reprints, or additional integrations are not included and may be quoted separately.
Client Responsibilities
- •The client is responsible for providing all content including text, images, logos, product information, and branding assets in a timely manner.
- •For print projects, the client must approve final proofs before production. We are not responsible for errors approved by the client.
- •All content must be accurate, legally compliant, and approved before submission. We are not responsible for errors in client-provided content or copyright infringement.
Cancellations & Refunds
- •The 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has started.
- •If the project is cancelled, charges will apply for work completed up to the full project value.
- •For print projects, once files are sent to production, cancellations are not possible and full payment is required.
Intellectual Property
- •Upon full payment, the client receives usage rights for the final deliverables for their intended purpose (website, print materials, branding, etc.).
- •All working files, unused concepts, and source materials remain our property unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- •We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless stated otherwise.
- •Stock images, fonts, or third-party assets used in projects may require separate licensing by the client for commercial use.
Design Review & Revisions
- •Design previews, proofs, or staging links will be provided for client review at key project milestones.
- •The proposal includes up to five rounds of revisions within the agreed scope.
- •Requests outside the original scope or after final approval may be charged separately.
- •For print projects, clients must approve final print-ready files. Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and delays.
Print Specifications & Quality
- •Print projects are produced to industry-standard specifications. Slight colour variations between screen displays and printed materials are normal and expected.
- •We are not responsible for print quality issues caused by low-resolution client-provided images or files.
- •Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving print proofs. Once approved and sent to production, we cannot accept responsibility for errors.
Liability
- •We are not liable for losses resulting from website downtime, third-party failures, print errors approved by the client, or inaccurate client-provided content.
- •Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.
- •We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from our services.
Acceptance
- •Proceeding with the project confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- •These terms apply to all services provided by Make It Look including web design, print design, and creative services.
- •These terms may be updated from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
